Peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies

Peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies

I’ve been making these cookies for YEARS. The combine my favourite Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, and Oatmeal cookies. They are DELICIOUS! Thanks to the mix of ingredients, you don’t need to refrigerate overnight to get the perfect cookie, like is needed for the wonderful, amazing Chocolate Chip cookies.

The only problem? One batch does not make that many cookies. Good for my waistline, but around my house, they don’t last very long. A double batch is the only way these cookies will last longer than 5 minutes around here! Plus the dough is really good – so I guess it is good that I cook them right away instead of putting in the refrigerator.

I am ready to eat another batch of these right now!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat oven to 375. Spray your cookie sheet with non-stick spray.

Beat butter, both sugars, and peanut butter in a bowl until light and fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla, mix well. Add in flour, oats, baking powder and soda, and salt into the mixture. Mix until incorporated. Add in the chocolate chips

Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Remove to a cooling rack.

Eat and Enjoy! YUM!
