Creamy Peanut Butter Frosting

Creamy Peanut Butter Frosting

This was actually my first time making Peanut Butter Frosting – What took me so long?!?! It was so DELICIOUS! I looked up recipes on Pinterest, but they all called for ALOT of butter. I didn’t think that much butter was needed, since you are also adding in Peanut butter – so I just created my own recipe.

Frosting is sooooo EASY to make on your own. It tastes 100 times better than the stuff in the can as well. As long as you have some sort of mixer, it is simple to make. You just need some butter, powdered sugar, and a little milk to make a delicious frosting. Then just add in Cocoa, or Peanut Butter, or Cream Cheese to create a “fancier” frosting!

This may just be my new favorite frosting (or at least close to Cream Cheese frosting)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) of softened butter
  • 4 cups of powdered sugar
  • Milk (1-3 tbsp)

Directions:

Put all the ingredients, except the milk, in a bowl (or mixer bowl). I use the whisk attachment on my kitchen aid. Mix ingredients together. Slowly add in some milk, until creamy. (don’t add too much milk, or it will be runny… that is why you need to add the milk SLOWLY, until you get the right consistency). Mix/Whip until light and fluffy.
