Well, I decided to change that
and made up this Chalkboard Menu
It was super simple
and easy to make
and stopped the constant
“What is for dinner?”
from both the kids
and me!
Supplies:
Fence Board
Sander (or just sand paper)
Chalkboard Paint
Picture hanging kit
Take your fence board and sand it (I chose a fence board because they are CHEAP – usually $1.50 or less at your Home Depot). You want it sanded REALLY well – you want it very smooth, so the chalk will write nicely on the board. After is is WELL sanded and smooth, spray it with your chalkboard paint (or brush it on, if you bought the kind in a quart, but a spray can is more than enough for this project). Let it dry and attach the picture hanging kit to the back. Hang it up and you’re done!
