Another delicious crockpot creation
Oh how I LOVE my slow cooker
Throw everything in
and in a few hours,
dinner is ready
Crockpot honey soy chicken
This was a yummy dish
my kids ate it
with little to no complaints,
so I consider that in the “win” category!
Plus,
it is another
“Toss all the ingredients in
and in 4 unattended hours,
you have dinner”
type of meal
which I adore on busy days 🙂
Crockpot honey soy chicken Ingredients:
- 1.5-2 lbs chicken breast
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 3 Tbsp Vinegar
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp (or more) chili sauce
- Green onions for garnish at the end
Directions –
Combine all the ingredients, except the chicken and green onion, in the slowcooker, and stir to combine. Add in the chicken (mine was mostly frozen still!). Cook on low 3-4 hours. Shred the chicken at the end (I just take 2 forks and shred in the slow cooker).
Serve over rice (I used brown rice). Garnish with green onions as desired. ENJOY!
