Again, I have tried several fudge recipes. When it comes down to my favorite, I always come back to the Magic Fudge – you know, the kind on the Marshmallow creme jar. It is easy to make and it is DELICIOUS. Did I mention easy? I’ve done other recipes, and my kids always prefer this one. So I don’t kill myself anymore! I just make this fudge and everyone is happy. Easy and yummy! What’s not to like? My mom always made this fudge too – maybe that is why I like it so much – it is what I grew up with!
Ingredients:
-
12 oz or 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Grease a 9×13-inch pan. I line it with foil and spray that – makes it easier to remove from the pan. Mix sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a large, heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Bring mixture to a full boil for 5 minutes or until 234 degrees, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and thoroughly combined. Add in marshmallow creme, walnuts, and vanilla extract. Pour the fudge to the prepared pan and let cool before cutting into squares.
