OH.MY!!! My husband made Honey Soy Shrimp for dinner on Sunday night and it was soooooo good! Seriously, it was delicious! It could have been in a restaurant, actually, it was better than most restaurant food. We were defrosting our freezer and noticed we had a bunch of shrimp, so decided it was time for another new recipe. This Honey Soy Shrimp was a BIG winner. Like possibly my favorite shrimp recipe ever. I may need to try it on some chicken! (ooohhhhh! That is such a good idea!)
The best part? Only a few ingredients and super easy to make! I love shrimp for dinner because it takes like 10 minutes or less to prepare from start to finish.
Serve it with rice or pasta. Even mashed potatoes. We ate it with rice and it was sooo good. Spoon the sauce from the shrimp over the rice and you have a meal that will dazzle anyone! YUMMY! Seriously, go get some shrimp and try it now.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3-6 cloves of chopped garlic
- dry or fresh ginger – to taste
Directions:
Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger (of desired – to taste). Place sauce and shrimp in a saute pan and saute until cooked. Shrimp is cooked when pink and curled up – about 5-7 minutes or less.
Serve over rice or noodles. YUM!
