Another winning lentil dish! Oh how I love lentils. They are really underrated in American cuisine! YUM! Healthy and delicious. They simply do not photograph well though… My kids gobble them up too, so that always makes for a winning dish around here!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2-4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1″ ginger, minced (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 onion, chopped or grated
- 1 cup lentils
Directions:
Place all the ingredients in your Instant Pot.
Use the beans setting for 20 minutes:
I allowed it to naturally release because I wasn’t home when it finished! Looked like this when I opened it:
Give it a stir and it should look like this:
Yum! Serve over some rice
