Since we went to the Grand Canyon in March, I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.
But I was.
I mean look at the picture. It looks like a freaking painting! No Filters were used on these pictures – just natural light and my iPhone! This place is called Artist Point. You can see why it is called that.
The rest of the viewpoints for this area were closed for repairs or something – so this was the only view we got of the area – but It was pretty spectacular and this is the most popular viewpoint for a reason! I mean – come on! So beautiful!!
The parking lot is REALLY close to the viewpoint, so it is very easy for people of all abilities to see this spectacular spot! One of my favorite things about Yellowstone is how accessible it is for everyone!
Make Artist Point a priority during a trip to Yellowstone. We went later in the day, and parking was easy, so I wouldn’t worry about getting there early to beat the crowds. I think since it is a pretty easy to access sight, cars move in and out frequently, so it should be an easy, must-do stop any time of the day!
