The main reason I wanted to return to Olympic National Park was to see the Hoh Rainforest. On our last trip to Olympic, it was too late in the day by the time we made it over to the Hoh Area, so it was top of our to-do list for this trip!
Hoh Rainforest was well worth a second visit to Olympic National Park. One of the reasons Olympic is one of our favorite National Parks is because of the diversity of the landscape in the park! Mountains, lakes, ocean, beaches, waterfalls, trees, rainforest, etc.
We did the Hall of Mosses because it was highly rated and one of the easier hikes in the Hoh Rainforest. The loop is fairly easy for everyone, but was not stroller friendly. We got through the trail without complaints from the kids.
The Hall of Mosses and the entire Hoh rainforest area is just stunning! We thankfully were there on a dry day, so the trails weren’t muddy, but I can see that being an issue on many days, so bring proper shoes!
If going to Olympic National Park, Hall of Mosses is a MUST DO! Seriously, add the Hoh Rainforest to the TOP of your list (along with Hurricane Ridge)
