Oaks amusement park
is one of my kids favorite places
I love it because it is fun
and more importantly, affordable
for the entire family
They are always running specials
and deals on their website
We happened to go on a Thursday
where they had a deal for ride bracelets
and roller skating
and Mini-Golf
for $12.25
A GREAT deal for all of that!
Our kids had the BEST time riding all the rides
We split up at certain points
one parent taking the 2 older ones on bigger rides
and the other parent going on the little kid rides
they have rides for every age!
The rides are similar
to rides you would see at your county fair
(only nicer, and a couple bigger ones)
but seriously,
the prices are WAY better 🙂
My personal favorite
is the Tilt-o-Whirl

just like the teacups at Disneyland
Wimp!
My kids were not big fans of
the Roller Skating
It was only the second time they had been
and just weren’t getting the hang of it 😛
I remember going so often when I was little
*sigh*
oh well….
I enjoyed it 🙂
The mini-golf was fun
My kids always zip through the courses
No skill required when playing with them!
It is just a free for all!!
We got there around noon
Just after eating some lunch
and then left around 5:30ish
because we were all tired
(we had gone to the Children’s Museum that morning)
and had ridden all the rides at least once
(some 3-5 times!)

It was a great way to spend the afternoon
Lots of family fun
at an affordable price too!
The crowds weren’t bad
We never had to wait for a ride
(unless it was already going when we got there!)
A great time was had
by the ENTIRE family 🙂
