My one year old has been sick the last two days
Fever, throwing up
Nothing fun
I would do anything if I could take it away from him
but the last 2 days have made me slow down
and just spend the day
cuddling my sweet baby boy
While I am never happy when my kids aren’t feeling well
I am always grateful
for the time to slow down
focus on my child
and just enjoy being with them
because I know one day
they will be grown up and gone
and I will look back and cherish the moments
when I slowed down and just spent that time with them
