Kid #5 – our baby – turned 2! He LOVES Mickey Mouse and the new Mickey and the Roadster Racers is one of his favorite shows.
We decided to do a Roadster Racers cake for him.
He “helped” make the cake. He loves baking and cooking. He is always in the kitchen with me and his play kitchen is one of his favorite places to play (He got play stainless steel pots and pans and wooden food for his birthday. Thanks to the awesome Melissa and Doug toys!). The cake isn’t as polished and finished as I would have liked, but he loved helping and working on his cake!
He was so excited to blow out his candles. He couldn’t even wait until we were done singing to him. Then he was more interested in playing with his new cars than eating cake.
To make the cake, we simply bought this set of Roadster Racers – bonus is they count as a present after your done with the cake! Then just bake a 13×9 cake, cover in 2 different colors of frosting and add the cars. Easy Peasy! Even a 2-year-old can help make it!
