I’ve tried all sorts of different recipes for cookie dough without eggs, so I can just eat it or make it into frosting. None of them taste as good as my cookie dough, that I love. What is the point if it doesn’t taste as good as the real stuff?
Then one day, I just used my recipe, left out the eggs (and baking soda/powder) and substituted milk for the eggs. IT WORKED! SO GOOD!!!
Simply just add milk to get the consistency you want! Add even more milk to get it thinner for frosting. I will make it the consistency of cookie dough, scoop it out and freeze it. Then I can pop an individual size amount of the cookie dough into my mouth, whenever I get the craving! YUM!!!
For frosting, I highly suggest using the MINI Chocolate chips! They spread much better and work better in the frosting. Regular size will work, but the mini does work much better from my experience.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter – softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- milk
- Chocolate Chips – Mini chocolate chips work best for frosting
Directions:
Whip together the butter and both of the sugars until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla, salt, and flour and a little bit of milk. Mix and add in more milk until you get the consistency you desire (more milk for frosting, to make it spreadable). Add in the chocolate chips. Eat and enjoy!
