Our hike this week took us to the William Finley Wildlife Refuge. It is just south of Corvallis – we past it on our way to Alsea Falls 2 weeks ago.
This place is fantastic! I am a bit sad it has taken us this long to come here. There are LOTS of different trails that are easy for kids! Plus, you see tons of birds and animals. We even saw a snake near the marsh 😊 Our favorite sighting was a Heron! (No pictures – I was nursing a baby at the time).
We only got to 2 of the many trails, so we might even come back this summer. It is a beautiful place to come Hike and be in nature, with easy trails for all abilities!
I would highly recommend hiking/walking here with kids of all ages. We will be back!
