Surprisingly, we did not get stuck on any rides during most of our trip. A miracle I know (although, I do have good memories from the rides we have been stuck on! Especially – Pirates, Splash, and Alice in Wonderland – all those we had to be taken off through the backstage)
As we were heading out of Epcot on the last day of our trip, we decided to go on Spaceship Earth one more time on our way out. Why not squeeze in one more ride?
The ride went great, until we got RIGHT to the end. Like we could SEE the light from the unloading area (we were half spun around from being backwards).
So we got stuck on a ride – our LAST ride, the LAST part of the ride, on our LAST day of our 10 days at the parks.
We actually found it kind of amusing. Plus, we were all together. I had the baby (phew! I could feed him!) and we all just enjoyed the time. No one around us was complaining either, so that was nice.
We were stuck for about 20ish minutes. It was actually a fun memory of the trip. I guess Disney just really didn’t want to let us go!
It was better than the time I wasted in line for Test Track – does that ride EVER work?!?! (I swear it was broken down half the time we were there. I didn’t end up riding this trip, but at least all the kids did)
Memories. That is what traveling is all about. Sometimes the things we remember the most are things we’d never have planned – like being stuck on the last ride of your trip 🙂
