Hope (definition): the feeling that something desired can be had or will happen: to cherish a desire with anticipation: to want something to happen or be true
I recently commented on a popular speaker/bloggers Instagram Post about some pregnancy difficulties she was experiencing. I don’t normally comment posts, especially “famous” people, but I felt a connection with what I had gone through the last year. I was surprised when she “liked” my comment, considering how many people commented. So I went back to remember what I had written and noticed that MANY, MANY people had liked my comment. I was shocked. It made me think: “Why?”. Then I realized that I had given her and those reading the post and my comment something I had been searching for during my struggles and complications:
HOPE
I searched and looked all over the internet for information/odds/outcomes on our circumstances. I was searching for HOPE.
By sharing just a little bit of my story, I gave them a little bit of HOPE in their own circumstances. That yes, I went through that a year and a half ago – bad news after bad news – but here I am, with my precious baby asleep on my chest. All is good in the world again. There is always HOPE.
Please remember that no matter your circumstances or your current situation, there is always HOPE. You may need to look for it in different places in your life and it may not be where you expect it to be, but it’s there – HOPE is always there. No matter how bleak your situation, you have to look for that light and hope in your life – it’s there, I promise.
I have no doubt, there is always hope, happiness, light, and joy waiting for you, even in your darkest of times. There is always light at the end of that tunnel. Run for it. Seek it. Don’t Quit. Keep Trying. Keep looking. It’s there waiting for you (maybe not in the way you think it is) always.
Before you know it, your story may be that beacon of hope to those around you.
