Miso Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 - 2 lbs Chicken
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup white miso
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 inch grated ginger
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • black pepper to taste
  • scallions (optional)

Notes

Take half of the butter and melt it with the garlic in a saute pan.
Cook your chicken in the butter and garlic.
While the chicken is cooking, mix the rest of your butter (soften or melt as needed), miso, maple syrup, grated ginger, vinegar, and black pepper together as a sauce.
Once the chicken is mostly cooked, pour over the chicken.
Bring to a simmer and finish cooking.
Garnish with Scallions if desired
Serve over rice or noodles!
