Gah! Summer has completely gotten away from me as we have had a CRAZY last few weeks! I am going to try to get these posts complete before we leave for vacation and they should post while we are on vacation! Well, at least I am hoping to get all these posts written up! I’m sure I’ll have lots of posts about vacation when we get back (well, once we get over the craziness of back to school and back to life after a vacation that is!)
Hike #5 of the summer was to Jackson Frazier Wetlands. I have driven by the signs for this place literally 1000s of times, but had never been.
It probably wasn’t so much a hike, but a lovely walk. Since it is summer, the wetlands were pretty dry, but it was still a nice walk and fun place to visit. Trees, fields, wildlife – lots of variety to see and explore on this walk! We will probably go back in the fall and see the difference. Kid #2 was at camp when we went on this hike.
The walk is on a fun boardwalk the entire way. It is nicely maintained and the kids thought it was great. I was impressed they had the nice boardwalk on the entire trail.
It is a super easy walk and we loved the boardwalk. We will be back in the different seasons to see the difference in the wetlands!
