#2 found a massive stick to walk with on this hike. Boys and sticks. They can’t help themselves!!
Hike #6 took us to Peavy Arboretum. I have been there so many times – too many to count! I went often as a teenager! However, I don’t think we had taken the younger boys here yet! So off we went. It is always such a beautiful hike through the woods!
They have signs along some of the paths explaining the trees and the forest, So you get a lovely hike and a little education.
The hikes are super easy. After we did one, we could have easily done another one (or two), but the little boys said they were done. It was getting late, so we didn’t push.
There is just something to zen and peaceful about this place. Probably why I have been so many times. I regret not having brought the little boys here sooner! We will have to come back sooner rather than later, especially since it is so close to home.
